Ruth Martindale is an artist based in London who graduated with an MA  from Wimbledon College of art in 2008. Her work investigates process and making, and the history and stories of places, materials and objects. Her installations consider the relationship between man-made objects and their natural origins, whilst presenting objects that hover between functionality and uncanny artefacts. Ruth’s drawings create a narrative that relates to a place: its history, myths and uses.
